Merrant ODBC Question

Using Merrant 3.60 Informix ODBC Driver. In testing the connection I get error "Cannot locate sqlexec service/tcp service in /etc/services". I'm sure that the service name is correct. I have also included the IP address and machine name of the machine from which I'm making the ODBC call. What else do I need to do? TIA Austin
