View permission!!!

I already create a view that take data from another database in the same server and the message is "272: No SELECT permission" when I run a simple select to that view. I test login with INFORMIX and the result is the same, with dba permission both database and is the same. Please somebody help me!!!!

Check the table level permissions on the underlying table(s). Perhaps the table does not permit SELECT privelege for PUBLIC or only for specific users. Art S.
