I know there are plenty of DBAs out there who are supporting some version of XPS on an IBM SP. I'd like to talk to you. We have both 8.11.UF1 and 8.21.UD1 (and ODS versions, too, for good measure) running on various AIX and PSSP revision levels, and sometimes we have issues which are specific to the OS environment. These include: * xctl woes * performance monitor options * obsolete SNMP daemons * AIX-specific bugs * PSSP purgatory * difficulty of life in a SVR3-descended OS Please email me if you would like to join in an intelligent discussion about these problems and others which apply to our common environment. Users of other operating systems are welcome, too, but these discussions will be limited to XPS. Alex J.
