RE: Informix Connect on Windows Terminal Server

In my experience, the default user settings are not used by the I-Connect programs. When a new user logs on, the default settings are copied to this user. If a user with a profile logs on, then that user needs to have I-Connect setup. (Or remove the profile from the box.) I think www.iiug.org has a program to copy defaults to the current user. Search for "copy default" Good luck. -----Original Message----- From: Arnaud ANDRIEUX [mailto:arnaud.andrieux@aql.fr] Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2000 6:46 AM To: Branko F. Then, each time a user will log on, it will use his setnet32 settings. An alternate way : The utility 'Regcopy' provided with the SDK copies setnet32 settings in the registry from one user to the default user directory (you must be nt administrator tu execute successfully the regcopy utility). When a connection takes place, Informix Connect deals connection steps as follows : FIRST - it uses the setnet32 settings of the connected user (nt session opened with this user) if this user is implicated in the connection, SECOND - otherwise it uses setnet32 settings of the default user (set by regcopy). So, if the user who is establishing a INFORMIX connection can be logged on the nt server or workstation, you should set setnet32 for this user. Hope this helps. Arnaud "Branko F.
