DS CLI support multiple statements?

In other words, can I execute two concurrent SQL statements using the same connection handle? eg, SQLAllocEnve(&henv); SQLAllocConnect(henv, &hdbc); SQLConnect........ SQLAllocstmt(hdbc, &hstmt1); SQLAllocstmt(hdbc, &hstmt2); SQLExecuteDirect(hstmt1, "select * from customer", SQL_NTS); SQLExecuteDirect(hstmt2, "select * from emp", SQL_NTS); Do I need to execute hstmt1 and hstmt2 on two different hdbc?
