But if you are right with :Online 6.x not running on SCO 5.0.x we get into REALLY big troubles. :Does anybody know for sure whether Online 6.x runs on SCO 5.0.x or not? You know. It says on your media (tape or whatever it is) from Informix what version of what operating system the engine is for. If it says 3.2.4.2 on your media you have to get an upgrade for 5.0.2. I doubt *very* much that Informix have ported 6.0. As far as I know they started out with 7.11.x or something like that for 5.0.2 and have probably ported some 5.0x version as well, but 6.0? Ask them. But why on earth do you insist on running on 6.0. There were lots of bugs that are fixed in the later 7.x versions. You should go to 7.1x (the latest which is 3 or 4 I think) or 7.2x where x is at least 1. That seems to be the versions with most of the bugs fixed. If you for some reason can't upgrade the engine I think you have to go back to SCO Unix 3.2.4.2 or be on your own as far as support goes. Then again this version of SCO Unix is no longer sold, nor well supported. However it is reasonably stable so it should run for quite some time yet.
