Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
SQL Server, afaik, only offers OLEDB or ODBC connectivity to Informix. I have not had any problems connecting to Informix from 32-bit SQL Server 2005 SP1 using OLEDB and I have used linked servers as well as SSIS. We are using 2.90.TC5 to connect to IDS 10.00.FC4.

Subject: .NET provider to MS Visual Studio 2005
Hi
Has any one got the IBM Informix 2.90 .NET Provider to work with MS Visual
Studio 2005?
Are trying to connect to and IDS 10.00.FC4 and 8.50.FC2/8.51.FC1 thru a
Integration Services Package
but I only get the possibility to make a OLEDB connection, which fails with
an sql error when used.
