I'm afraid that today will be my final day on this ng. I'm moving to Oracle.......boooooooo I hear you cry. Ah well , got to have a bit of variety. I hope the Oracle ng is 1/2 as good as this.....

HEH, you will soon miss dbschema, easy parallel processing
(no more just set vcpu to (n host cpu) -1 )
and sensible architecture.

It's not. Maybe 1/10 as good. And yes I am using the 'latest & greatest' 8i release. Lucky I still have my personal Informix systems to develop/maintain stuff on. Nobody here seems to be mentioning much Java stuff, though, still 4GL. Oh well, back to the other n/gs. Peter Wiley
