Hey Informix - Who Are You?
When in ESQL - how can I determine at run time what is the version
with which I am working - i.e - 7.2 , 9.1 and alike...
Thanx.

This works for version 9.x:
SELECT
DBINFO('version', 'server-type'),
DBINFO('version', 'major'),
DBINFO('version', 'minor')
FROM systables
WHERE tabid = 1
See IBM Informix Guide to SQL Syntax / Segments / Expressions.
