Installing IDS.2000 on Solaris 7

Heeeeeeelp ! A 100% newbie in Informix (me) tries to install (done) and start an Infomix Dynamic Server 2000 on a Solaris 7 box. I'm completely confused (doc is confusing) about the steps to perform to get the database server started. I'm completely lost in the information from the "Getting started" document.
