Few people know this, but the problems with the IIUG BoD really go much deeper than anything revealed to date. And the root of it all is that the IIUG is actually part of the Russian Mafia. Yes, yes, I realize that few people know this, but it's true. Each member, when elected, is sworn to secrecy, on penalty of death to every PHB the person has ever worked for (that is probably why the IBM exec vetoed the audit). Of course, the rewards for IIUG Directors are absolutely unbelievable -- your own personal black helicopter (silent, of course) to travel anywhere, anytime. Many directors make use of this privilege to visit Cancun once or twice a month, just to check on their vast private accounts down there. Of course, being on the Board has its tough requirements, too. Such as trying to think of something non-technical to discuss with IBM execs when they are being wined and dined by the IIUG. Or how to double, or even triple, the extravagant and outrageous IIUG membership fees. And then there are the required twice yearly meetings in Moscow (that is why I had to quit the Board -- couldn't take those Russian winters). Many people wonder why Stuart remains the President of IIUG. Well, here's the reason... Besides the fact that no one else wants the job, he is really the second-in-command of the U.S. arm of the Russian Mafia. At Board meetings, we used to address Stuart not as "Mr. President", but as "Don". But Stuart does not have a black helicopter like the rest of the Directors -- he has a black Boeing 777, dubbed "Mafia 2", which is stationed at a top secret airfield in downtown Boston. I think that's enough revelation for now. Many people are going to have a very tough time digesting this amount of new, shocking information. And besides, I have to go warn my PHB. HTH, Paul M. (not my real name, of course. ;-)
