I don't think I've ever been offered such a tempting target before. I'd love it if you crossposted it to alt.humor.puns. :-) However, that's not why we're here, so: 1. Forget Metacube. I suspect it's not long for this world, and although it was a good tool in its day, time has moved on. 2. Seagate Analysis / Info certainly has good pricing. :-) Check out http://www.seagatesoftware.com -- it's quite good, Informix were (are?) bundling it as part of their SuperMegaDecisionFrontierBlahDiBlah solution. 3. There are a zillion others, like Business Objects, Cognos, Hummingbird BI/Suite, Crystal Reports, to name but a few. They all have pros and cons, they all cost money. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
If you want a quick and dirty tool use dbaccess for data retival and
a PC spreadsheet to format the data. (graphs, summing, ordering, whatever).
thats about as cheap as you get. and about as dirty.
