Upper/Lower Characters

Hi, We are using IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC6 on SunOS 5.10 Generic_138888-08 sun4v sparc SUNW I want to know how can i get the information that do i have any upper or lower case character present in any particular column. Thanks. Shahzad Salam Kasi

SELECT (colname matches '*[A-Z]*') has_upper FROM sometable; Returns a boolean, so 't' or 'f'. Art Art S.
