Hi, > Dbexport/ Dbimport performance decreases This may be to do with the mix of data and index pages in the file as well, as DWC ( David Chan) often points out informix mixes data and index pages , however if you load data then index after the load then you can get all data pages then all index pages and the chance of a single read ( which reads more than a page ) getting a useful index and data page are much reduced.
