Hi Steve.
Depending on the circumstances you might consider using the LOAD
statement, as in the following example:
CREATE TABLE myTab( myCol TEXT );
LOAD FROM '/tmp/myfile.txt' INSERT INTO mTab( myCol );
(You can also specify a delimiter in the LOAD statement.)
