Yup. This is bug 21975, aka 10973/14573.
UNLOAD/LOAD USING FILENAME IN VARIABLE APPEND \\0 TO VARIABLE
If filename for LOAD or UNLOAD is stored in variable, after
executing the LOAD or UNLOAD command, the variable has a \\\\0
appended, and using it in a concatenated string causes anything
following the filename to be ignored.
Fixed in 4.12.UC1.
