Thanx, Dan Response: If you see the "*" it means the thread is either temporarily, or permenantly bound to that particular cpu vp (so it can only run on that one). Listener threads end up permentantly bound to the cpu vps they get assigned to (for various reasons), other threads can short term end up bound to particular vps to stop them from moving to other vps if required.
