Re: sqlturbo's and I-Connect

I don't know how to prevent orphaned sqlturbos, we have other server - client configuration, and here always live sqlexec - sqlturbo together. But sometimes happens, after not correct end of application, the process pair (sqlexec - sqlturbo) does not die. I use "tbmode -z pid" and then "kill -1 pid" on database machine, to "safely" end the processes. When sqlturbo dies, the sqlexec die, too. This helps in most cases, but USE IT VERY CAREFULLY ! They say it can cause OnLine to abort, but I do not know other way, how to stop these processes, which can lock system resources. PS: I hope you did NOT try "kill -9", like I did when new to Informix.
