Onbar Restore Error - Can't Restore Reserved Pages

Has anyone experienced a problem with onbar restore - can't restore reserved pages. Here is what the onbar log says: 1999-04-23 12:02:15 93032 45160 /elite/informix/bin/onbar_d -r dbs1 1999-04-23 12:02:19 93032 45160 Successfully connected to Storage Manager. 1999-04-23 12:02:20 93032 45160 Begin salvage for log 11. 1999-04-23 12:02:54 93032 45160 Completed salvage of logical log 11. 1999-04-23 12:03:07 93032 45160 Successfully connected to Storage Manager. 1999-04-23 12:03:28 93032 45160 Begin cold level 0 restore dbs1. 1999-04-23 12:03:28 93032 45160 ERROR: Unable to write restore data to the dat abase server: restore reserved pages failed . I am running AIX 4.3, IDS 7.3 UC7, storage manager ADSM. The original backup was made with onbar -b -w. Your backup is a "whole-system" backup, which means you can only do a "whole system" restore (onbar -r -w). It appears that you were trying to do a restore of dbspace dbs1 only, which is not permitted with a whole system backup. Dave
