Hi everyone, Does anyone knows if there is a ODBC version to work with C-Isam files. C-Isam files threated by c-programs. There is no database involved. Thanks, Danny
Byte Designs has C-ISAM compatible product called D-ISAM and has ODBC product. Fidelity Soft & Hard wrote: > Hi everyone, > > Does anyone knows if there is a ODBC version to work with C-Isam files. > C-Isam files threated by c-programs. There is no database involved. > > Thanks, > > Danny

Well, there was a beta announcement recently from IFMX about a 'C-ISAM' DataBlade. This thing takes a UDO engine, and allows you to surface the C-ISAM data as tables in the schema. You can do SELECT and write queries against it, database procedures, blah blah blah. Contact your favorite sales type. KR Pb

Take a look at http://www.sco.com/vision/products/sqlretriever/ for more information and a downloadable eval. There are vendors who do supply native C-ISAM drivers as well. Does Alan recommend SCO SQL Retriever on comp.kitchentools.coffemakers also? Talk about a "When all you have is a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail!" mindset! Art S. Kagel
