Hi I have (IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC6WE) on AIX6.1 TL 4 SP2. There is a O/S upgrade from AIX 6.1 TL 4 SP2 to AIX 6.1 TL 7 SP6 (AIX 6.1 Technology Level 7 Service Pack 6) Will there be any constraint for Informix during this upgrade. As the system is production can I have the Informix instance in online mode itself. Will there be any issues for Informix after upgrade? From the release notes I have found these details cat ids_machine_notes_11.50.txt | head -20 ================================= MACHINE SPECIFIC NOTES FOR IBM INFORMIX Dynamic Server 11.50.FC6 PRODUCT RELEASE ON IBM AIX 5L 64bit DATE: 16 Dec 2009 ================================= OS Information : Built on AIX 5L 5.3 Technology Level 4 SP 2.
