migrating HP PA Risc 64Bit to HP Itanium 64 bit

Hi All, Currently I am working on migrating the Informix application running on HP PA Risc 11 64 bit to HP Itanium 64 bit. I have aplications in 4gl and ESQL, Which are your recommendations? That is the important thing to having encuenta? Thank your

You should be sure that all applications have been compiled as 64-bit. 32-bit applications can actually run slower on Itanium 2 than on 32-bit machines.
