I've managed to compile it by not using the Makefile, the command I used was: gcc exec.c -o ../bin/exec.bld -lm -I$INFORMIXDIR/incl/public -shared -DMI_SERVBUILD -O The routines seem to execute just fine but : 1. Can anyone see any issues with the way I've compiled the library ? 2. I'd really like to know why the Makefile failed ? Thanks, Rich
