Hi to everybody, excuseme for the (maybe) stupid question.., I'm newbie to informix. I can't understand what is the difference between the version with TC1,TC3,ecc.. and the version with xC2,xC3,ecc... can somebody help me, please? -- .Relativo.

Generally, the first letter after the point is: U for Unix 32 bit H for HP-UX, 32-bit code compiled to run on a 64-bit machine F for HP-UX 64-bit only T for Windows X means usually a release note or other information that applies to all variants Don't think there's a specific Linux code (yet?)

Hi, F is for 64-bit UNIX versions in general, not specific to HP-UX. There is not specific letter denominating Linux, that is right. Linux versions have U or F like other UNIX versions.
