A sea of doubts

Here I send to this forum some questions I've recorded:
a)We have a program that inserts data into nine tables, as a
transaction:
Begin work
INSERT into t1...
.
.
INSERT INTO t9...
Commit work
This construct inevitably led to "-206: the specified table is not in
the database". This occured under MS-DOS 3.2 *AND* under Unix. The
engine is SE 1.10.03K. In both cases, this error appeared at the same
position (~ the 7th table), no matter which table we put there.
b)Is it possible to "Pack" an .EXE program written in ESQL/C, in such a
way that we don't need the previous activation of STARTSQL (Under DOS),
and (also) that STARTSQL don't be present at all in the disk?.
c)(a refinement of the previous question): what about the same question
as b), but (textually) replacing STARTSQL by I-NET?
d)Is it possible to LINK ESQL/C .OBJ's with programs written in C++
(Under DOS)? If YES, which C++ can you suggest to me?
e)Is it possible to access to information related to the calls one can
make to the DBEngine, and which libraries I should use?
f)I have an EVEREX STEP 386/33 with SE .03 under 386/ix (Interactive
Unix R. 3.2). It has an 8-port COMPUTONE multiport serial board. There
are some PC's running PROCOMM as vt100 terms, and they work fine. I
tried to add two terminals: a Wyse-60 and a KT-70. They work, but when
I push any function key I don't obtain the right sequence of chars, if
any. If I work in LOCAL mode, the sequence eventually is the right one.
I've tried modifying the ic_control file from COMPUTONE, with no
result. The termcap file appears not to have relevance at this
instance, as the terminfo database. I've also tried to program the
function keys via intellikey, and I've obtained different responses,
but in any case the string I programmed. (All this is a natural
derivation from the fact that in this country there is no support, in
practice, for mixes of products as the ones I'm speaking). Can anyone
help me?
I thank you in advance, by the only fact of having read this
poetry.
