Search for any of these which have anything to do with dates or datetimes. This is not a sophisticated approach but it will get you started. To get any further you need to identify which variables contain dates or date-like data and examine the ways these are used in the code. This is not Informix-specific, although the part of the parser which identifies variable definitions and declarations might be for 4GL. What analysis tools do you have? Check the IIUG archives at http://www.iiug.org/software/software_index.html#I4GL for 4GL tools. I think there might be a cross-referencer there (memory rusty). -- Peter Lancashire Information Systems Specialist, Bayer plc Eastern Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP32 7AH, UK Tel: +44-1635-562258, Fax: +44-1635-562281 --- If all else fails, read the instructions.
