Just for your future reference, if you have such critical issues you should
probably
be calling informix tech support. A lot of us don't get news immediately
and can't
be of much help in such conditions.
Having multiple servers is not necessarily causing this issue, you should
give us some
more details on your hardware - number of CPU's, memory, etc. Did you start
two dbimports on the same server or different servers? Have you been
looking
at the processes at the UNIX level (i.e. top)? Have you checked the system
logs
for any violations or such?
I remember seeing tons of issues with 7.23.UC4, consider an upgrade to 7.30.
In any case, I wish you luck in recovering the system. Try not to hard boot
the
box, only PC's like it :-)
