I had a set of Web Pages up and running that accessed Informix Tables through ODBC using Visual Interdev in two or three hours. Previously I just had some html experience. The whole active server page thing was totally new to me. The only documentation I even looked at was this Visual Interdev Tutorial thing I downloaded from the Microsoft sight. (around 50 pgs). Of course it took a little html, VB Script, and SQL knowledge to make it a little more user friendly and to customize functionality. But it's easy enough to find documentation on any of the above. Disclaimer... I did this with the older version of Visual Interdev. I haven't tried version 6 .... yet. -- Surf Usenet at home, on the road, and by email -- always at Talkway. http://www.talkway.com
