Hello, I recently restored a L0+L1 backup, all worked very well, the instance was on line, i do some selects, everything seemed OK. But when a i ran my application, BOOM, it"s did not worked, the logs shows that the application could not insert into a table with error status 750, i ran update statistics high for this table, same pb, i unloaded/dropper/created/loaded =, same pb. So the result is that my Backup will not work if i have a big problem in production :) or :( :( How can I check the consistency of a backup, of course set apart restore Thanks
Archecker is there to verify the intergrity of your archives. Did you restore the logical logs as well as the archive? Art Art S. For this moment,on my production no, i only do archive L0 and L1, not the logs
but i resotred L0+L1 of my production on another test server wich the save
logs option is activated (LTAPEDEV "a directory", BACKUPLOGS=Y
BACKUP_CMD='ontape -a -d" on alarmprogram.sh )
