odbc and informix 5

I use a product that runs on AIX 4.2.1 with Informix 5 as its back end database. I am working with a VB developer to create a product that interacts with Informix. I do know a little about Informix - SQL but I do not know how the db environment is set up. I have looked and can not find which drivers I need on the server to make the ODBC connection. can any one tell me besides rtfm were to get this information. thanks in advance kirt
