New case

Dear Madam or Sir, our maintenace contract is 5906. Our customer, State Revenue Service wants to use asynchronous High Availability Replication for their databases. The problem could be, that in case of media failure on primary database server, some transactions can be lost (not commited on secondary server). As I understand from documentation, those lost transactions are recorded in "lost-and-found" file on primary server. The question is - can those lost transactions be commited later, taking information from this "lost-and-found" file? Operation system : Windows NT 4.0 IDS S/N AAC#J802326 Best regards Andris Shirons
Other question is how much data your going to push through the link. Look at that very carefully. cheers j. If you meant to open an official support case you have come to the wrong place. You can do this from the Informix WEB Site: www.informix.com/corporate. This is an informal users' support forum and we will certainly try to help where we can. Art S.
