LOL... Sorry, but Twitter is useless and I *can* say the same thing in 140 characters, but does that mean you'd understand what I said and why its true? 140 characters? Try this... IBM IM is feeding the IDS Community a line of BS. IBM IM will see a decline in revenue from DB2 zOS. IBM IM doesn't think beyond current qtr. IBM IM IT Specs do not have parity between DB2 and IDS knowledge. IBM IM Execs told how to fix this problem, no real cost to IBM. IBM? Does nothing. IBM blew Sun opportunity. IBM needs Sun to penetrate 'White Space'. White space needed for growth. Also White space IDS market space. How's that? There's more, but I don't think it will work because you wouldn't understand what I had to say. ;-) What's interesting is that some DB2 moron decided to create a sock puppet ... > From: jgp@jgp.net > To: pontes.vagner@gmail.com > Subject: Re: End of an era. > Date: Sat, 25 Jul 2009 08:16:26 +0200 > CC: informix-list@iiug.org > > Hey Gumby... why don't you go to Twitter? > > I enjoy reading ur posts, they are funny and give another view to a > point (not saying you are true thus ;-) ), bt being limioted to 140 > characters would teach you to be CONCISE :-)))) > > You can follow IIUG on Twitter @IIUG. > > On 25 juil. 09, at 02:39, Vagner wrote: > > > On 24 Jul., 17:41, DBA <dba.9...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> In article <mailman.162.1248465267.4791.informix-l...@iiug.org>, > >> Ian Michael > >> Gumby says... > >> > >>> DB2 is not and will never be as good as IDS in Informix's space. > >> > >> aha the idiot spoke again. I had well over 20 Informix DBA friends working all over the world, no one said that they were migrating to DB2. Most of them said they were migrating to either Oracle or SQL Server. --Chavan
