I am told that 9.20 works with shadow passwords and MD5 passwords unless NIS is used, and 9.21 will work with NIS (and shadow passwords and MD5 passwords). I also understand that in future, the testing will concentrate on these options (NIS vs no NIS, MD5 vs regular, shadow vs unshadowed) and other uses of PAM will be untested but should work OK. I'm not clear whether these will be fixed in any 7.30 versions, etc, but reading between the lines, the answer is probably No. -- Yours, Jonathan Leffler (Jonathan.Leffler@Informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- http://www.perl.com/CPAN "I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!"
