I have put every possible variation of crdec8.apgea.army.mil in the "hosts.equiv" file. Short version, full domain version, upper case, lower case - and anything in between. It doesn't like any of them! I tried starting "sqlexecd" with the logging option to see if the hostname was being truncated to 16 characters - it's not: sqlexec crdec8.apgea.army.mil mpluczak -d/u/mpluczak/INFORMIX.RICK/stores We're stumped!
