Online multiple env probs

Works fine on our Pyramid/HP/Fuji, but only with the kernels configured for *LOTS* of IPCs. There are seldom enough semaphores and shared memory in the default kernels. When someone 'discretely' starts up another Turbo or Online session without telling the sysadmin, freaky things often start to happen as the system runs out of resources. If one works fine, use ipcs(1) to figure out what it's using and make sure you've got double that much, if both are configured the same. Or just double your IPC params and rebuild your kernel. BTW., they aren't both pointing at the same piece of disk, are they ? We also had a few 'data integrity' problems when one of my aquaintances configured a raw partition over the swap area ;-) > J.E.
