ANN: SQLCMD version 55 available
Posted in 2000
Version 55 of SQLCMD is now available at the IIUG web site. New features in this release: * Builds on NT * GNU ReadLine support on Unix (with many thanks to Benjamin Kahn <xkahn@cybersites.com>). The autoconf code should probably check for the ncurses library before checking for the curses library. You may need to specify where the ReadLine headers are found with UFLAGS=-I/usr/gnu/include if the compiler won't look there anyway. * More INFO commands: USERS, ROLES, CONNECTIONS, TRIGGERS, TRIGBODY, VIEWBODY. * Simple XML output (XML data loading will not be supported). * Connect to database with username and password on command line. * Supports CREATE FUNCTION as well as CREATE PROCEDURE. * Handle delimited identifiers in INFO statements, even if DELIMIDENT is not set. It always did handle them in plain SQL if DELIMIDENT is set. -- Yours, Jonathan Leffler (Jonathan.Leffler@Informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- http://www.perl.com/CPAN "I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!"
