Static Control Components of Sanford, North Carolina seeks to fill the position of Assistant Informix Database Programmer. Static Control Components is a manufacturing and marketing organization that has historically experienced 100%+ annual growth. With central offices located in Sanford, NC, Static Control Components is poised to expand into world-wide offices and distribution centers. The Assistant Informix Database Programmer will be charged with the responsibility of writing and modifying existing Informix code for the Sales, Manufacturing & Accounting departments. Applicants will have the opportunity of working in a small, informal MIS department and establishing a solid career base with maximum growth potential. The current environment is HP-UX 9.04, Online 5.01, RDS, SQL, Fourgen CASE Tools set, for character terminals. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with proven knowledge of, and experience in, Informix and Unix environments. This is not an entry level position. Experience and ability are more highly regarded than college degrees. Experience with Fourgen Accounting Software and Fourgen CASE tools will be a plus, as will basic Systems Administration abilities.
