It's a bit hard to avoid saying RTFM in response to this. ISQL2 could only exist in (archaic?) DOS versions; otherwise, you simply use ISQL. If you are using a DOS version, read the DOS manuals. Assuming you are using a Unix version, then you need to get hold of: ISQL Reference Manual ISQL User Guide And, if the engine you are using is more recent than 4.x, then you also need: Informix Guide to SQL: Reference Informix Guide to SQL: Tutorial You need to look up DELETE in these manuals.
