Error 25591: Transport control received an invalid connection address when accessing database via seipcpip method

Hello,
i´ve installed an Informix SE 7.24UC5 server on a Linux system (SuSE 6.2
with Kernel 2.2.10). I´ve defined two methods
to access the server in /usr/lib/informix/etc/sqlhosts
infse_local seipcpip lb-is01.jetsys.de sqlexec
infse_net sesoctcp lb-is01.jetsys.de sqlexecd_se
If INFORMIXSERVER is set to infse_local and i call dbaccess and then the
DATABASE -> SELECT dialogue i got error 25591. There is no problem if i
start the sqlexecd and set INFORMIXSERVER to infse_net.
Is there something wrong with my sqlhosts entries for the local
connection?
Greetings, Joerg
Do you have a DBSERVERALIAS defined for infse_net in the ONCONFIG file?
Is the hostname as reported by uname -a really: lb-is01.jetsys.de?
Are you using shadow passwords? (Password shadowing and Informix do not
seem to play well together.)

OOOPPSS, I did not notice this is SE! You must start a listener process:
$INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlexecd sqlexecd_se
with the environment setup like a local shared memory client.

sorry, i think you misunderstood my original message. Of course i´ve
started a listener process for the infse_net connection like you
explained above. Connecting with dbaccess to infse_net is not a problem.
What doesn´t work is the local connection via named pipes (i think that
what seipcpip means). Connecting to infse_local gives me Error 25591.
