The problem is you have not set up your function keys in the TERMCAP/TERMINFO definition file. In the default VT100 termcap/terminfo only KF1-4 (the top 4 keys of the numeric keypad normally, are defined and none of the top row function keys F1-12. There are sample termcap files in the IIUG site. If you do not find what you need and cannot figure it out let me know, I have a working XTERM termcap for all function keys plus INSERT/DELETE/HOME/END/ Art S.
