The core dump would occur whatever was chosen from 'info'. Is this the case here or is it only Indexes which is the problem? Does the statement 'INFO INDEXES FOR <table>' run OK? If it does, I suspect a bug in your engine. You could reload it. If that doesn;t work, I would ring Tech Support (if you have a contract) and also maybe there is a maintenance release version of your engine which would sort the problem. Sally
