Well, presumably you will be selecting it from the database, won't you?
So part of your final select will be:
SELECT ..., textblob, ...
FROM ...
You immediately have a text blob variable called textblob which you can print.

You can't manipulate blobs inside the report, of course, unless you write C
functions and call them inside the report -- you'd also need the custom ACE
runner. That includes assignments. All you can do is SELECT them and print
them. You shouldn't need to use CLIPPED on a text blob.
