Does anyone out there have any experience with Visual Basic and Informix (using an ODBC driver). My company is looking at different client (Windows based PC's) software packages to hook into our Informix databases. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this combo of products, and if so. I have used VB 3.0 (for windows), but have not used it to connect to any database via ODBC: o What type of application did you write in VB? o Were there any limitations on data types, (datetimes, intervals, etc). o Do you plan to do further development in VB? o Do you use any third party VBX's in your app?
