Does anybody know if the announcement made by Informix about the alliance with Red Hat Linux to distribute the Informix Dynamic Server 7.3 on the Red Hat Linux 6.1 is effective now? Does it mean that I can use free of charge the Informix DS v7.3 on a Red Hat Linux based server? Also, in order to reduce software costs I'm planning to install an Informix 4GL/Online 5.02 application that actually run in a SCO OpenServer box in a Linux box running either the Informix DS v7.3 or the Informix Internet Foundation 2000. Do you think that it works without problems under Linux? Thanks Manuel Ortiz mortiz@gtireecu.com
