4GL-RDS on RedHat Linux 2.2 kernel I'm trying to generate fglgo my own C functions. (cfglgo fgiusr.c -o fglgo) I have no errors compiling, but when I start fglgo with some 4gi program, I get a "Segmentation fault" Some ideas? Thanks

Visit the Dynamic 4GL corner of the IDN web site and look in the "What's New" page for a complete workaround for c4gl, with comments that the same problem and same basic solution apply to cfglgo and cfgldb. http://www.informix.com/idn You will need to subscribe. I am also having a problem trying to create a custom runner for RDS 7.20.UN7
on RedHat 6.0. It appears to be a simple compilation error, as I have
little experience with C.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have installed the compat libraries as show in the FAQ
at www.informix.com/idn > linux > faq.
I have altered /usr/informix/cfglgo to change INFORMIXC to:
CC=${CC:-i386-glibc20-linux-gcc}
INFORMIXC=${INFORMIXC:-${CC}}CC is not set to anything in my environment.
When I execute (as root): cfglgo fgiusr.c usr_funcs.c -o /tmp/myrunner I
get: /usr/informix/lib/tools/libfglgo.a(fgirepgo.o): In function `mkselcur':
fgirepgo.o(.text+0x1410): undefined reference to `frge_cursor'
