I can't tell about Sun, but we are running both Informix (Online 5.01, 4GL 4.1) and Oracle (7.something, backend and frontends) on Siemens-Nixdorf RM series servers. There are no problems that I know of. I cannot give you any details about the Oracle side, since I am only the Informix DBA and sysadmin, but the two systems don't harm each other. The only "incompatibility" I ever saw is that both Informix and Oracle by default suggest TCP port no. 1525 for their networking (Informix-Star, Oracle SQL*Net). This was never a problem for us since we've always been using port 22222 for Informix, since there used to be a product by Siemens-Nixdorf called "Informix NETStation" for PCs which had this port hardcoded. We don't use it any more, but there is no need to change that portnumber.
