We just write what the Clients and the Specs (Sys Analysts) want. But considering that the clients first app (not written by us), was written a while ago (in MS Access) , maybe it is more feasible now than it was then (to connect from home). But also, we're in Africa, so connectivity isn't granted in every household -- yet. Shall check with boss and clients.
