New Informix edu Listserv

After some time of kicking this idea around I am pleased to announce a new listserv aimed at universities, colleges, research institutions, and schools who use Informix products. The list (called edu-users) is designed to bring this part of the Informix community closer together. It is hoped that the list will provide a forum to exchange ideas on how Informix products are being used in educational and research settings. Educational institutions face common administrative and research problems and a sharing of Informix based solutions can be helpful to all. While purely technical questions are welcome on the list they will probably get wider exposure and quicker answers on CDI. To subscribe to the list send an email to: majordomo@iiug.org In the body of the note insert the following: subscribe edu-users I offer a great deal of thanks to the IIUG for hosting this list. They have been most helpful (especially Walt Hultgren) and supportive of the idea since I brought it up at the conference last July. Lastly, if the University of Michigan or any of its alumni join this list I promise that you will be treated well no matter how the Rose Bowl turns out. GO COUGS!
