I saw "set constraint all deferred" statement in this newsgroup; it is to be used to not control constraints during transaction. I do not whether the statement really exists and in what version. It does not work in version 5.x. Seems to me that the best solution is to do analysis of constraints and use appropriate tables order in program. If you want SQL script, which will show constraints from/to table, let me know.
