Storage/Backup Problem

Hi, Where are trying to construct an up to 70GB database on OnLine 5.08UC1. For storage, 4 x 18GB or 7 x 9GB SCSI HDDs will be used. For backup, the first choice is HP SureStore 24eu and DDS-3 tapes, with a capacity of 24GB (compressed) per tape. The question raises is there another alternative for storage or backup? Or, essentially, different solution for the probelm can be devised? Comments and suggession are highly welcome and appreciated. Many thanks in advence. -- Ali.
